It’s no secret that I love to read and I have done since I was young. I used to get through so many books a month and I always carried one with me, just in case there was a chance that I’d get to read a few pages. I also used to be a big collector of books, so if I read the first in a series, I had to have the whole set – there was the Harry Potter series, the Twilight series, that ‘Mates, Dates and…’ series and so many others, including a mountain of Jacqueline Wilson books. But as I’ve got older, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to put time aside for reading. It’s my own fault because I take on way too much work, but sometimes I do wish that I could just have a few days to relax with a book.
I keep hearing about this book, yet it is still not on my shelf. I think I need to fix that. This book is about a man who is done with daily life, so sets up a ‘literary apothecary’ on a boat that he sails in France and prescribes books to fix peoples problems. It sounds like a gorgeous read and a real pick-me-up. I’m pretty certain it would also give me itchy feet.

"Aristotle and Dante Discover The Secrets of The Universe" is one of my favourite YA books. Benjamin`s writing is so deep and meaningful. I also liked "The Girl On The Train", but some parts were predictable.
