Wardrobe Spring-spiration From Boohoo New In

I'm always envious of those people that have found their personal style and they find it so easy to put outfits together. I'm the total opposite. I'm ridiculously lazy when it comes to clothes. I'd love to be one of those Instagram girls that knows how to wear clothes and pose in a natural-looking way because I end up looking like an awkward scarecrow. That being said, I absolutely love looking at clothing websites and building up a bit of a wishlist in my mind, so today, I'm going to share some of the spring pieces that have caught my eye in the Boohoo new in section.

Boohoo is one of those marmite sites - you either love it or you hate it. In my opinion, I think it's fab. Their clothes are inexpensive and so easy to return if you're not a fan. They're constantly bringing out new clothes, so by the time that this post goes out, there'll probably already be hundreds of new items on the site.

Something that I've seen cropping up a lot lately is leopard print and I literally own nothing that features the pattern. I've always been a bit scared of it, but after seeing Sharon of Best Before End Date rocking her leopard numbers, I've been feeling more confident about it! I was drawn to the Hari leopard print shirt dress because it's something that can be dressed up or dressed down. It would look killer with some tights and chunky boots! Something else that I've also been wanting to try is more statement jeans. I love a good pair of blue denim jeans and my black ripped knees, but I can't help but love the Kirsty high waist stripe skinny jeans. I have no idea what I would wear them with, but I think they're fab. I also love the Evie patchwork mom jeans - they would pair so well with a slouchy jumper and a top knot for a more relaxed look.

Speaking of jumpers, I've featured three in my top image. I'm an absolute jumper fiend and would wear one every day if I could. Now, I know that we're technically in spring, but I'm still finding it chilly, so these jumpers are perfect to throw on when the wind picks up. The pastel pink Sandy colour block knitted jumper is right on trend, whereas the black Amy 'woman' sweat top is a little more minimalistic and would look great with a range of bottoms. Then there's the Harriet nineties club sweat, which just speaks to me on another level. As a nineties baby, I would rock this as often as I could.

In the tops department, stripes will always have my heart, so the Ava contrast rib crop tee jumped out at me straight away. I've also been loving yellow lately, so the Georgia on tour in 74 tee caught my eye. I love slogan tees and they're something that I think will never go out of style, so this yellow number is right up my street. There's also the Martha pom pom ruffle top, which is slightly out of my comfort zone, but I think it would look so cute with black jeans or shorts and a big floppy black hat. However, I'm not much of a hat person (I've got a huge head) - I'm more of a bag person, so when I saw the Kate quilted heart cross body bag, I almost did a little squeal. It's so freaking cute!

Let's take a little minute for those shoes. How sweet are the star detail cleated brogues? I absolutely love the silver stars against the shiny black of the shoes and I feel they'd be something I'd wear constantly. The Matilda chain trim loafers are equally as gorgeous, and I love in both the pale pink and the black. The pale pink is definitely more appropriate for spring though.

And last, but certainly not least, is that stunning lemon-print playsuit. It's the Saskia wrap front playsuit and I am so so tempted to pop it into my basket. I just love the print and find that wrap front pieces are super flattering on me. I have wide shoulder and hips, so the wrap draws the attention to my hourglass waist. I don't usually wear playsuits casually and save them for occasions, but I can see myself wearing this one out and about.

Have you taken a look at Boohoo's new in section recently? There may just be something with your name on it!
