March 2019 Gratitude List - Taking Things From 0 To 100

1 Apr 2019

You guys, I'm kind of completely floored at how this year is going. I sometimes look back at my other gratitude lists and just think 'how the heck is this my 2019?' Is anyone else feeling the same? But March has been absolutely incredible for a number of reasons. In fact, it's been pretty bloomin' hard to narrow this list down to just 5 things that I was grateful for last month, but keep reading if you want to find out what made my March so marvellous!
  1. Turning 25 - the 28th of March (also Lady Gaga and Zoella's birth date, if you were wondering) saw me turning the grand old age of 25. This is an age that I feel so comfortable in, whereas 24 was an odd one. There's just something about the number 25 that really appeals to me - surely I can't be the only one that gets a vibe from numbers? But yes, I'm so excited to see what being 25 holds for me!
  2. Travelling to Amsterdam - Alex and I finally took our first trip abroad and it was to one of my most favourite cities - Amsterdam. When Panic! at the Disco announced that they were touring, I saw that they were playing in London on my birthday. We tried so hard to get tickets, but they sold out too quickly. Alex being Alex, he was like, "I'm not taking no for an answer," and went ahead and booked tickets to their Amsterdam gig instead! We did a fair bit of planning and had the best time ever, so that really was a big highlight for me in March.
  3. Having a whole bunch of opportunities thrown my way - my ambition went through the roof in March (which you'll know isn't ideal if you've read my Am I Too Ambitious? post). I've spotted so many things that have made me think 'yeah, I could do that' or 'I really want to do that' and either applied for them, or shown interest in them. Fast forward to now, the start of April, I am overwhelmed with stuff and while I do sometimes feel a bit smothered, at the same time, I'm so freaking excited and motivated to get stuff going. I've taken things from 0 to 100 so fast!
  4. Feeling like I can develop my ideas - this links into the last point heavily and I don't want to delve into it too much because I don't know if the said ideas will ever amount to anything, but I had significant external interest in something I've had in my mind for years. I've had a lot of encouragement and pep talks, and the cogs are turning just a tiny bit. I hate to be one of those people, but I'm not saying anymore about it right now!
  5. Being featured on Soap & Glory's Instagram - it's funny how such tiny things can make a huge difference, but in March, I was unexpectedly featured on Soap & Glory's Instagram page! It was quite lovely feeling like a celeb for a day, I won't lie, and it was also nice for everyone to see my makeup look. I did find it quite funny that they were using a photo of my eyeball to promote their mascara, but it honestly made my week! I still like to go and check the likes and comments on their re-post now. It's the little things!
Like I said, March was a pretty incredible month for me. In fact, I don't think I could have asked for anymore, so thank you March 2019 for being so impossibly good to me. I'm so excited to see what April holds for me, but first things first, I want to know what your March was like! Let me know!

Whould you like to comment?
