The aim of The Northernist is to champion the North East, with a particular focus on Teesside, to challenge the negative views of the region. I’m Olivia and I’m a thirty-something Smoggie. I was born and raised in Stockton, spent the best part of my teens and twenties living in Middlesbrough, and now I’m settled in Norton. I’m passionate about the whole area and will defend it to the death, which is something that I emulate through The Northernist.
When I’m not tip-tapping away on here or grafting at my marketing day job, you can find me reading, stitching or furiously video editing.
