Cena

If you like Italian food, you’re going to love Cena. This spot has been a staple in my family for years and we often go there for birthdays, and for very good reason! The food is absolutely gorgeous – I’m talking about massive stonebaked pizzas, incredible pastas, and a massive range of starters that’s impossible to choose from. It’s got a lovely contemporary feel to it, bringing a touch of modernity and fusing it with the classics, so it’s one I recommend to everyone!

Elif

If you were to ask me about my favourite restaurants in the whole of Teesside, Elif would 100% be on the list. This gem that started life in Norton has expanded to Yarm and it’s a must visit. It’s home to authentic Turkish cuisine and absolutely immaculate vibes. The menu is extensive, but I highly recommend getting a mixed hot mezze platter to start because it’s incredible! The spot is really great for special occasions and get togethers.

If you fancy breakfast or brunch in Yarm, look no further than Nossa. This is a Portuguese deli, so you can browse their shelves to take home some pantry essentials, but there’s also a cafe with the most delicious menu. They serve up some amazing breakfast dishes, but you must explore their pastry cabinet. They make authentic pastel de natas and they are sensational!
