Children aged 0-7 will be able to discover all about the magic of the moon in this special playscape!
Easter Egg Hunt at National Trust Ormesby Hall – Make your way along the trail and find activities for the whole family. Each trail station has a different activity, including the much loved welly wanging, wheelbarrow racing and egg and spoon race. Prices are £3.00 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg. The Three Billy Goats Gruff at The Majestic Darlington – On a grassy hill, in the middle of the countryside, there lived THE THREE BILLY GOATS GRUFF! They never stopped eating and before long they had eaten everything they could get their hooves on! The only option is to go looking for more food. Easter Bunnes Yoga, Craft and Create at Hopetown Darlington – We’re eggs-tra excited to welcome Meraki Reconnect back this Easter for more of their magical, immersive family workshops! Inspired by the charming story ‘Every Bunny is a Yoga Bunny’, these sessions are perfect for little ones aged 3–6 (though older bunnies are absolutely welcome too!). Expect a gentle mix of imagination, movement and creativity that’s sure to put a spring in everyone’s step. From 10:15am-3:15pm, prices start from £6.50.

Track down the boards, play together to decide which creature will reign as the ultimate spring champion! Don’t forget to scan the codes and watch as amazing animals burst into life through augmented reality right before your eyes. £3 per pack of cards, each participant will also need to buy entry to the reserve.

Find the plastic eggs hidden by the Easter Bunny; he’s given us the chocolate eggs to exchange for the ones you discover during the event. Booking is essential. Easter Party with the Easter Bunny at STACK Middlesbrough – An egg’citing afternoon of themed characters, colouring, dancing and a special visit from the Easter Bunny! 12-1:30pm, suitable for children aged 2-7 years old. Tickets are required for children aged 0-12 years old. £3 each.
Easter Trail and Crafts in Albert Park (FREE) – Can you find the giant eggs around the park and mark their locations on a special map? Maps available The Heart Cafe CiC next to the Albert Park Visitors Centre, with completed maps returned to the centre to receive a trail prize. Free Easter Crafts available at the Visitors Centre and the Cafe from 11am to 1pm.
Unlimited Play Funday at Middleton St George Cricket and Social Club – Join us on Saturday 4th April from 12–5pm for our Inflatables Fun Day. This is going to be one to remember – trust us! We have so much entertainment lined up for you all, and the best part is that it’s unlimited play on all inflatables and just £10 per child.

Easter Garden Experience at Middleton Grange Shopping Centre (FREE) – Visitors can step through a floral archway into a stunning 64-square-metre garden, complete with picket fencing and a beautiful life-sized cherry tree. For those looking to get crafty, the ‘Make & Take’ stations will be in full swing. Children are invited to build and decorate their very own Easter baskets or get creative by customising chocolate bars and crème eggs with a variety of delicious toppings. The adventure continues across the entire Centre with a classic Golden Egg Hunt. Young explorers are encouraged to search the mall for ten giant numbered gold eggs hidden in shop windows to win sweet rewards.

Natural History Museum: Dinosaur Live at the Princess Alexandra Auditorium – For the first time since 1881, the home of dinosaurs, London’s Natural History Museum, is going on tour! We’ll go on a pre-historic journey together to the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and watch the life-like dinosaurs come alive right on stage! Not only that, but we’ll also find out more about fossils, time scales and how our planet has changed over hundreds of millions of years.
Easter Bunny Pizza Class at Cherry Hill Garden Centre – This Easter, little pizza lovers can roll, squish, stretch and create their very own adorable bunny-shaped pizza. It’s hands-on, creative and packed with tasty fun from start to finish!
MIMA Family Art Trolley (FREE) – Join us with family and friends to make your own masterpiece using a range of materials and making techniques. Stay for lunch and pick up a picnic from the MIMA Kitchen for £1 per child when visiting the Family Art Trolley.
Build a Giant Community Peacock at Preston Park Museum – Join artist Hollie Notman to design and make bold, bright peacock feathers. Stagecraft Easter Workshops at Middlesbrough Town Hall – A Wonka inspired twist to our musical theatre workshops at Middlesbrough Town Hall. Bursting with creativity, colour and curiosity, these sessions are perfect for young performers who love to sing, dance and act while developing strong, exciting characters. Get Creative with 3D Pens at Stockton Central Library (FREE) – Design it. Build it. Own it. Ever wanted to draw in 3D and level up your creativity? In this session, you’ll use 3D pens to design and build awesome stuff—right in mid-air. If You Come Down To The Park Tonight at South Park, Darlington (FREE) – In these workshops, you’ll explore South Park, use special recording devices, and take part in playful activities to dream up characters, worlds, and stories. We need your imagination to help build the kingdom! After a first session on Tuesday, you’ll be invited back to the park on Thursday with a grown-up of your choice. Together, you’ll interview them, test out exciting audio material, and try out ideas for the show as it begins to take shape. These will come together in a sound piece that will premiere in 2027! If You Come Down To The Park Tonight at South Park, Darlington (FREE) – In these workshops, you’ll explore South Park, use special recording devices, and take part in playful activities to dream up characters, worlds, and stories. We need your imagination to help build the kingdom! After a first session on Tuesday, you’ll be invited back to the park on Thursday with a grown-up of your choice. Together, you’ll interview them, test out exciting audio material, and try out ideas for the show as it begins to take shape. These will come together in a sound piece that will premiere in 2027! Ideally you’ll be able to attend both dates but it’s not a problem if you can’t.

World Heritage Celebration Day at Hopetown Darlington (FREE) – Come together with friends, neighbours, and family to celebrate World Heritage Day with a joyful day of music, art, and performance.
