6 Transporter Bridge Gift Ideas

One of my favourite things about driving to Middlesbrough is the moment you approach on the A66 and the Transporter Bridge comes into view. It’s the true icon of the town and used to symbolise the area all around the world. You either love it or you hate it, but I like to think that it holds a special place in all locals’ hearts.

With all these things in mind, it’s only right that the Transporter Bridge theme joins my line up of Teesside gift guides. Take a look at this list and find the ideal present for the Teessider in your life!

An abstract art print makes a great Transporter Bridge gift idea

1. ALovelyLittleSpot abstract Transporter Bridge print

If you want to gift the symbol of the Transporter Bridge, but without the signature blue, this abstract print from ALovelyLittleSpot could be the one. I love that this design features the bridge from the side, as if you’re about to go across it, rather than from the front with the recognisable shape. It’s so unique and the colours are beautifully soft!

2. Down The Rabbit Hole Transporter Bridge tree hanger

I think giving the gift of a Christmas decoration is just fabulous. And what could be better than a tree hanger featuring a little Transporter Bridge? This tree hanger from the amazing Down The Rabbit Hole is super cute and would make a unique addition to any Christmas decor. You could even gift one to yourself! Make sure you bookmark Down The Rabbit Hole because they also do an adorable Transporter Bridge pin and a Bottle of Notes necklace.

If you need Transporter Bridge gift ideas, this mug by Richard O'Neill is great

3. Richard O’Neill Transporter Bridge mug

Mugs are always a good gift idea and what could be better than one with the Transporter Bridge on? I’m sure everyone is familiar with Richard O’Neill’s art, but if not, he produces gorgeous digital designs of spots all over the UK, including Teesside. This Transporter Bridge mug is the perfect gift for any Teessider friends and family members, and should take pride of place at the front of the cupboard!

4. Poster Parlour Transporter Bridge Blue art print

It’s no secret that I love Poster Parlour prints. In fact, they’ve featured heavily across these individual gift guides, but for very good reason. As part of his Andy Warhol-style paint can series, he released a fantastic Transporter Bridge Blue print, and it’s brilliant. This is such a fun idea for a gift and is part of a wider collection, so make sure you take a look at all the other paint colours too.

Wear the Transporter Bridge on a hoodie from T-Side

5. T-Side Transporter Bridge embroidered hoodie

Wear your Boro pride with the fantastic clothes from T-Side. This designer specialises in Teesside-themed designs and twists on popular logos (check out the ACDC Boro shirt!). There’s actually a massive collection of Transporter Bridge designs, but I particularly like the hoodie. Plus, the bridge is embroidered on, so you know it’s good quality and will last in the wash. I might have to treat myself!

6. Abby+Owen Transporter Bridge art print

If the classic image of the Transporter Bridge has meaning for your recipient, this fine art Transporter Bridge print from Abby+Owen will be ideal. The detail on it is just phenomenal and the colour really pops. It would look incredible as part of a collection of Teesside or North East prints in a gallery wall. Make sure you check out the rest of their beautiful designs.

So those are 6 Transporter Bridge gift ideas for your loved ones. No matter the occasion or your relationship to the recipient, there’s something in this list for every lover of the Teesside skyline. As I find more Transporter Bridge gifts, I’ll expand on this list, but I hope it’s helped you to find the perfect thing!
