There’s no better time to support local than at Christmas. As we all know, when you shop small, the owners do little happy dances, and happy dances at Christmas are the best! Plus, here in Teesside and the surrounding areas, we’ve got oodles of small businesses to buy from at this time of year.
If you’re stuck for what to buy for someone tricky or someone that simply loves food, a hamper is always a good idea. I’ve put this list together based on the businesses selling items with a fairly long shelf life, so if you know of any more, please drop me a comment or slide into my DMs!
